Kacie founded Fortify Financial in 2022 out of her desire to help people prepare for what’s ahead in their financial lives, whether it be retirement, moving, changing jobs, having a child, or honoring a loved one after their passing. Fortify means ‘to secure or strengthen,’ and Kacie’s vision is to help individuals and families feel strong and secure in their financial lives. Planning is necessary for being prepared for what’s ahead.

Kacie started working in financial services in 2013. In 2014, she received her investment advisory license. In 2017, she became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, CFP®, and in 2020 she finished her master’s degree in Family Financial Planning from North Dakota State University. She has taught five semesters of undergraduate Personal and Family Finance at NDSU. Over the past 10 years, she has helped hundreds of clients at all levels of wealth–from beginners to high net worth individuals–with planning and portfolio management.

In her life outside of work, she is a wife and mother of two sons. Kacie enjoys reading and many outdoor activities with her family. She attends Harvest Valley Church, and has served the community in numerous volunteer roles and non-profit committees.
